The Professional Development Committee will be participating in a quarterly book club, and the invitation is extended to all MYP members!
Each quarter, there will be an hour-long meeting during which those interested will gather to discuss a business-oriented book. This meeting is separate from the monthly Professional Development Committee meetings and you do not have to participate each time. There will not be a rigid agenda for these quarterly meetings, just some open discussion with a few general questions.
Q1 Book was "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen Covey.
Q2 Book is "Start with Why" by Simon Sinek.
We encourage all MYP members to partake in this opportunity for networking, development, discussion, and great food! You can pick up a copy of "Start with Why" at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or even Audible. Our meeting will take place at The Alley on Main at the end of each quarter.
